I am a self taught artist originally from Vietnam, living in Florida.  I work with reclaimed materials sourced locally.  The wood used to create the canvases and frames existed as fencing in a prior life until hurricanes knocked them over.  The paint used are reclaimed house paint.​Sea Turtles are my primary subject.  Their grace in the ocean is how I imagine living my life, but the reality is more akin to their laboring ambulation across the beachy sand.  Their eyes hold the mystery and secrets of the universe.
